Cookie policy
This website is deliberately plain. It uses only the technical storage needed to serve pages correctly, and it contains no trackers, no advertising pixels and no third-party cookies.
Statement of practice
We do not set advertising cookies. We do not run behavioural analytics. We do not embed content from other providers, and we do not load fonts, scripts or images from outside this site. Every part of every page is served from the domain you are reading.
What is stored on your machine
- Session data. Ordinary technical handling by the web server, which is discarded when your session ends.
- Local storage. Where your browser offers it, this site may keep a small local value so that a repeated visit behaves consistently. It contains no identifier that follows you between sites.
- Preferences you set. Font size or contrast choices made in your own browser are stored by your browser, not by us.
What is not stored
No advertising identifiers. No cross-site tracking values. No profiles of your reading. No third-party cookies of any kind. No fingerprinting values gathered to recognise your machine elsewhere. Our pages contain no embedded video, no social buttons and no remote fonts.
Why the site can run without cookies
A website of this kind does not need to recognise you. Every page is written in advance, in a fixed form, and delivered as it is. That design choice removes the ordinary reasons a site reaches for cookies, and it removes the ordinary risks that come with them.
Managing storage in your browser
You may clear or block local storage and session data at any time through your browser's own settings. Because this site uses nothing else, doing so will not degrade your experience of it. Guidance for each major browser is available in that browser's help pages, and we are happy to describe our practice in writing if your organisation requires a statement for a procurement file.
Do not track and similar signals
Because we do not track you, there is nothing for such a signal to switch off. Where a browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy control signal, we honour it in the only way available to a site that already collects no tracking data: by continuing to collect none.
Changes to this policy
If our practice ever changes, this page will be updated first and the change will be described here in plain language. We will not introduce trackers quietly, and we will not describe a tracker as a functional necessity when it is not one.
